COVID-19 Response Update

Governor Abbott has issued executive order GA-29 that states, “Every person in Texas shall wear a face covering over the

nose and mouth when inside a commercial entity or other building or space open to the public, or when in an outdoor public

space, wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household;…”

Among the exemptions to this order is exemption number 9 which states:

9. any person who is actively providing or obtaining access to religious worship, but wearing a face covering is strongly encouraged;

In short, a mask or face-covering is not required while at church, but individuals are welcome to wear a mask or face-covering.

We continue to offer social distanced seating in the auditorium as well as two Sunday services – 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
