“Fair” was both the prediction and the reality for Sunday, April 26, 2026.
The annual New Hope Ministry Fair welcomed fair-goers into the Fellowship Hall following the morning worship service. The cavernous area echoed with excitement, conversations, and laughter as folks were made acquainted with a variety of ministry opportunities.
A light lunch was provided for those who wanted to explore the displays, talk, and eat all at the same time.
Talents and interests of all sorts form the basis of the areas of service that were highlighted by volunteers who shared details of each ministry.
From greeters who welcome people into the doors of New Hope, to motorcyclists who “ride for the Son”, to the ladies’ quilting group, to Operation Christmas Child which shares the story of Jesus with children around the world, to God’s Pencils who send personal messages of celebration, remembrance, and encouragement, New Hope strives to follow multiple avenues of service to God, the Father, and to the world for whom His Son was sacrificed.
We have places for you! Lots of places! Come put your talents, your gifts, and your passions to work.
🎵”To the work! To the work! We are servants of God. Let us follow the path that our Master has trod.
. . .let the hungry be fed. To the fountain of life let the weary be led.
. . .there is labor for all.
. . .Let us hope, and trust, let us watch, and pray, and labor till the Master comes.”
